2025: Weighed in the Balance

What an awesome celebration we had last night! 

We welcomed in the first of the New Year AND the first of the tenth biblical month - 'coincidentally' aligned on the same day.

When those firsts align like that, we attend to this tenth month as a prophetic indicator for the year.

In scripture, ten is the number that "portrays that time of judgment when men either receive reward or come under divine judgment... One way or another, the law must be fulfilled, and the divine order reestablished.' *

Consider judgment on the 10 spies, the 10 commandments, 10 bridesmaids, 10 lepers, etc.

It's about people and things being weighed in the balance - some found wanting (i.e. Dan 5) and some found good and faithful (i.e. Lk 19.) 

Consequences or blessings/promotions/favor always follow.

But God has also demonstrated that this is a season of double-portion. 

Kim shared a series of 5 recent events and each time she received unexpected doubles. (Recall that 5 is the biblical number linked to Grace.)  

As we discussed last night, the connection of this year to 10 will be seen as God weighs things out in the balance. 

That process will include us. 

But in a year of double-grace and double-portion, understand that His finger is on the scale for you.
