As Your Days, So Your Strength: Fresh Grace for This Month

God sets His Word in time to give us what we need when we need it. Aand we need fresh insight now.

As we enter His 11th month, remember that 11 is linked to the chaotic disorder often experienced in transitions.

(Think of Joseph when the 11 betrayed him or the 11 disciples once Judas did the same.)

That 'messy middle' feels like the circuitos crazy in the graphic above.

But there is more to it than simply our subjective experience - We need God's perspective for His planned use of chaos.

As our awareness shifts, we learn that the only way to master the 'messy middle' is to yield to The Master.

Yield what? Our need to understand; our 'right' to complain; our frustration about 'delay,' and; our insistence on control.

We set those things aside so we may then put on the blessings of the 11th tribe, Asher.

Our feet get dipped in oil; our shoes become iron and brass: We are brilliantly equipped to tread and stomp through today's terrain.

And as some days will be more challenging than others, we remember this part of Asher's blessing: 'As your days, so shall your strength be.'

Rough translation: The tougher the day, the greater the grace. Grace specific to each day; for that day and that day only. Then new grace for the next day.

Rightly reoriented and equipped, any messy middle becomes the opportunity for greater and greater advance.

So, do yourself a favor and make time to watch the replay to sync up with His word for this time.

Then yield to Him for He IS the Master over the mess in the middle of your muddle.

Stephen
