Building The Stronghold of Joy

Last night was amazing! God orchestrated a joy-juiced and centered celebration, infused and led by the Spirit to show us how to Tabernacle.

The elements and activities of Tabernacles provide an outline of how to celebrate His generosity.

They are template of how to rejoice.

Rejoicing is not simply an emotional state or attitude but an ongoing choice, a decision to act in specific ways in response to life.

But it's more than a choice: it's a duty.

One commanded by the Lord and not to be taken lightly.

Nehemiah made the point to those who were mourning when God commanded them to rejoice.

That when we make the choice to rejoice by our actions, joy arises in our souls.

And when joy arises, it builds a stronghold within us.

We need that strong tower established within us, anchored in the deepest recesses of our soul.

Decide to rejoice and then practice it.

Not in denial or delusion but with a full grasp of both Grace and Truth.

Build the JOY Stronghold in you.
