I AM Breaking Off Shackles So You Can Run the Race!

There was a time lag between when Pharaoh's authority was broken and when Israel crossed out of his turf.

The blood of the lamb signaled the breaking of Pharaoh's rule, but the Red Sea broke his reach.

Similarly, the work accomplished at the exact moment of death of The Lamb on the Cross signaled the breaking of the devil's authority, but it was at the Resurrection that the crossing was complete.

The disciples didn't handle that time lag very well.

In this time of Passover, what needs to die and be broken off of you? What shackle is severed? That is the first part.

But there's more: A pressing to launch you forward in the race. That is the second part.

First you are cut free but then you must cut through.

And in any time lag, remember that God is at work behind the scenes.

While disciples were cloistered in fear, Jesus was raiding hell and grave. Oh, if they had only understood.

Take heart. The time between the cutting off and cutting through may be a challenge, but He's at work dealing with things you cannot see or begin to comprehend.

This is what I hear Him saying:

Get ready, get ready, get ready.

I AM breaking off the shackles

so you can run the race.

On your mark.

Get set.
