To Honor His First Coming - Honor His Return

The birth of Jesus was an invasion behind enemy lines that brought a swift and violent counter-response and genocide by the enemy.

He understood that the finite package brought ultimate, infinite power and needed to be stopped in its tracks. 

He was rightly afraid: For the grandeur of The Son constrained in the body of a baby was similar to a neutron star. 

Though minute in size, its mass and magnetic fields are so compressed and great that just one teaspoon weighs 100 billion tons.   

Yet like most people, the enemy was blinded to the long game the Father had arranged. 

That THE End in Mind in Jesus' First Coming was beyond even His Life, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension. 

It was His Return and all that follows!  

The First Coming is the critical means to The End of His Final Coming for this purpose:  The Reconciliation and The Restoration of ALL things.  

Why does it matter that we keep that before us in this time of remembering His birth?

Because we are still behind enemy lines yet we carry that 'neutron-star-glory' in us to the Kingdom fight and the harvest of souls.

And we do not lose heart but gain tremendous courage.  

For however 'small' our current start or progress may seem, there is Power at work and a Return soon at hand that is beyond our wildest dreams. 

THAT and THEN is when the prophetic utterance of the angels is fulfilled and 'peace on earth' reigns.

Rightly honor His First Coming by honoring His Return.
